Position Overview: Allmed Staffing is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to support daily front office operations at WellMed Dr. Phillips. This role is essential in managing high-volume incoming calls, coordinating patient scheduling, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and clinical staff. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Team Environment: The Receptionist will work alongside a collaborative team of 5 staff members who manage patient calls, faxes, and check-ins. The team values teamwork, efficiency, and delivering excellent patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and respond to 70+ inbound calls daily in a professional and timely manner
Schedule patient appointments and coordinate calendars efficiently
Take detailed and accurate messages and route them to the appropriate staff members
Assist with patient check-in and front desk support as needed
Handle incoming faxes and ensure proper distribution
Provide excellent customer service to patients and callers
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
Support office workflow and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications: Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of call center experience
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) call center experience
