Creighton University School of Dentistry is currently seeking a compassionate and adaptable individual to join our Front Desk Team as a Patient Care Coordinator II. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences, who is an empathetic, flexible, customer service-driven individual.

Bilingual in English and Spanish languages preferred but not required.

Work Schedule: This is a 12-month, Part-time, non-benefit eligible position working 20 hours /week. Generally the work schedule will fall within the hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm, may be asked to work occasional evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register patients at the front desk, ensuring a smooth and welcoming check-in process.
  • Serve as a patient liaison during clinic sessions to support access to care and enhance the overall experience.
  • Manage patient admissions, scheduling, reassignment and referrals.
  • Facilitate clinical communications including faxes letters, record requests, phone calls, emails and data entry.
  • Promote a positive and professional environment for both patients and student clinicians.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of related experience
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer service experience in a healthcare or front desk setting preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but all applicants will be considered.
