Patient Care Coordinator (Front Desk / Medical Reception)
AID Performance Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support our orthopedic and sports medicine clinic in Ashburn, VA.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, personable, dependable, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced healthcare environment. We are looking for someone who can help create an exceptional patient experience while keeping front desk operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist new and existing patients
- Schedule evaluations and follow-up appointments
- Verify insurance benefits and explain patient coverage/responsibility
- Collect co-pays, balances, and patient paperwork
- Manage patient communication via phone, text, and email
- Assist with patient intake and onboarding
- Maintain organized front desk and clinic workflow
- Coordinate schedules with providers and staff
- Help reduce cancellations and improve schedule efficiency
- Support daily clinic operations and administrative tasks
Preferred Experience
- Medical front desk, dental, PT, chiropractic, med spa, or healthcare office experience preferred
- Experience with scheduling and customer service
- Comfortable discussing payments and collecting balances
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to stay organized and professional under pressure
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems is a plus
