Position Summary:
The Patient Accounts Supervisor assists in managing the day-to-day billing and collections of the hospital accounts receivable. This individual has direct impact to payer cash performance and other key performance indicators. This individual reports directly to an AR Manager and advises their leadership team of any payer issues. This individual assist team members with follow up questions and attends payer meetings to discuss reimbursement or claim processing issues.
The Patient Accounts Supervisor demonstrates the ability to resolve complex issues and is considered a subject matter expert who keeps up with industry changes and willing shares knowledge with others. This individual can motivate team members, provide guidance, and assists in recruiting new hires. This individual is an excellent problem solver, communicator, and identifies areas of process improvement. This individual organizes own and team members work and ensures productivity and quality is met in their follow up.

Position Qualification:
Requires a HS diploma or equivalent, must have experience in a leader role.
