Patient Accounts Receivable Representative (EOB/Collections) Compensation: pay $17.00/hr ; benefits after 90 days ; 401(k) match after 1 year (eligibility dates)

Patient Accounts Receivable Representative (EOB/Collections) Highlights: contract w/ potential perm based on attendance/performance/business needs; required availability: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (ET) ; Remote (must have reliable internet); must be able to read an Explanation of Benefits (EOB)

Patient Accounts Receivable Representative (EOB/Collections) Responsibilities

• Review open patient balances for accuracy
• Place outbound calls to collect payment and/or set up payment plans
• Investigate patient billing inquiries and communicate findings clearly
• Support inbound patient calls as needed
• Document actions taken and billing status thoroughly
• Follow Medicare guidelines and payer requirements
• Identify trends/issues and communicate possible resolutions to leadership
• Maintain production and quality expectations

Patient Accounts Receivable Representative (EOB/Collections) Requirements: High School Diploma/GED; 1+ year outbound patient collections experience (medical/healthcare) ; ability to interpret EOBs/denial reasoning ; strong verbal/written communication + de-escalation skills; comfortable navigating multiple systems; moderate Excel/PC skills ; attendance mandatory first 90 days

Patient Accounts Receivable Representative (EOB/Collections) Preferred Qualifications

• Call center and/or outbound dialer experience
• Insurance follow-up/denials and patient billing inquiry experience
• Strong organization, time management, and ability to work independently in a remote setting
