As a Patient Account Representative, you'll be the go-to guide for patients as they navigate their financial responsibilities. From breaking down cost estimates to untangling insurance EOBs, you'll bring clarity, confidence, and compassion to every interaction.

This isn't just a numbers job, it's a people job.

What You'll Do

  • Provide clear and accurate cost estimates for clinic visits, surgeries, anesthesia, radiology, and durable medical equipment based on insurance coverage and clinical information
  • Explain Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) in simple terms so patients understand their coverage and financial responsibility
  • Respond to billing questions, research discrepancies, and work with internal teams and insurance providers to resolve issues
  • Assist with accounts that have outstanding balances and support timely follow-up
  • Deliver a high level of customer service with professionalism, empathy, and respect
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in the appropriate systems
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all financial and patient-related communications

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in healthcare billing, insurance, or a call center environment preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and patient billing processes is a plus

Skills That Set You Apart

  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to explain complex information in a clear, approachable way
  • Compassion and patience when working with patients
  • Comfortable using EHR systems and billing software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Why Join Us
