The Rehab Services Patient Account Representative is responsible for answering phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, patient registration, directing calls to the proper areas, performing insurance verification and prior authorization on new patients and reassessments as required by the patient's insurance company. Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills to customers and patients of all ages.  The Patient Account Representative will accurately enter all patient information into the electronic medical record system, keep record of all insurance correspondence, assist in charge entry as needed and assist the front office staff in scheduling and registration of patients as needed.  

May also be responsible for ordering clinic supplies and assisting to maintain a clean treatment area.

Schedule: Monday-Friday                       Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30pm OR 9:00am - 5:30pm

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with Microsoft Work, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
  • Experience in outpatient rehabilitation/billing preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
