SUMMARY:
The Patient Access Scheduler III is responsible for coordinating daily scheduling operations, mentoring team members, and ensuring efficient and accurate scheduling of patient services. This role serves as a liaison between departments, providers, and patients to support timely access to care and optimize workflow efficiency. The Patient Access Scheduler III provides guidance to staff, resolves complex scheduling issues, and supports training and quality assurance initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required; vocational training in medical office administration preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years in a healthcare scheduling or patient access role, including 1 year in a lead or mentoring capacity.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Heartsaver CPR certification required within 90 days for specific departments (e.g., Pediatric or Adult Therapies).
