- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm. No weekends/holidays.

What You Will Do:
The Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients in a medical clinic
setting. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing patient registration,
scheduling, insurance verification, and supporting smooth clinic operations to ensure a positive patient
experience
- Greet patients in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Answer inbound calls promptly, politely, and professionally; make outbound calls to confirm or
reschedule appointments as needed. - Obtain, verify, and accurately enter patient demographic and insurance information into the
electronic medical record (EMR). - Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring date, time, provider, and location are
correct. - Respond to patient inquiries or direct calls/messages to the appropriate staff.
- Explain billing information and assist patients with account questions.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes. Check-In: Collect and post payments, update
patient demographics, and verify insurance. Check-Out: Schedule follow-up appointments, provide
receipts, and confirm next steps for care. - Scan and upload medical records and documentation into the EMR.
- Verify medical insurance coverage using online tools and phone resources.
- Monitor patient wait times and address concerns to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and clear
communication. - Maintain a clean, organized work area and waiting room environment.
What You Will Need:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in healthcare administration or related field
preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred.
