What You’ll Do
- Examine and diagnose frozen specimens and fine needle aspirates (FNA) cases
- Manage approximately 140 diverse pathology cases daily, excluding autopsies
- Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver accurate and timely pathology reports
- Participate in routine laboratory workflows and quality assurance activities
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Maintain detailed documentation and record-keeping for all cases
What You Need
Required:
- Valid medical license in West Virginia or eligible for licensure
- Board certification in Pathology or closely related specialty
- Experience with frozen specimen analysis and FNA procedures
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
Preferred:
- Prior experience with high-volume case work
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
