Seeking a Patent Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our Technology and Intellectual Property Legal Team. The role involves managing a diverse patent portfolio at the intersection of technology and finance, safeguarding intellectual property assets, and providing strategic legal advice across global technology initiatives.
Responsibilities include overseeing invention intake, coordinating patent prosecution, engaging with inventors, developing protection strategies, and staying updated on patent laws and industry trends.
Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. law license.
- USPTO patent registration.
- 3+ years patent prosecution experience, especially in software-related patents.
- Strong knowledge of patent law, drafting, and prosecution skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications include a background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, and experience managing outside counsel.
