We are seeking detail-oriented pastry cooks to prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, ice creams, sorbets, creams, syrups, displays, and special-request items in a fast-paced luxury dining setting.
- Prepare various pastry items following recipes and standards for consistency and presentation.
- Maintain knowledge and safe use of all pastry tools and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, health, and brand regulations.
- Coordinate with the culinary team on assignments and priorities.
- Inspect cleanliness and working conditions daily.
- Plan and produce items for service, catering, and events.
- Collaborate professionally with team members to ensure efficiency.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in a high-volume setting as a pastry cook.
- Strong knowledge of French pastry techniques.
- Culinary school degree or certification preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency in computer applications and POS systems.
- Excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.
- Professional, punctual, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
