The Baker prepares, produces, and bakes bread, rolls, and breakfast pastries to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Reports to the Executive Pastry Chef and operates within established policies and procedures.
- Responsibilities include maintaining adequate supply, proper storage, minimizing waste, and organizing baked goods for various outlets and events.
- Assists with other kitchen duties as needed, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of the workstation.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with necessary certifications such as TABC and Food Handlers prior to start.
- Must demonstrate reliability, strong communication skills, basic math ability, and knowledge of baking and sanitation standards.
- Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, working in confined and high-temperature environments, and standing for extended periods.
