Job Summary
The Pastry Cook plays a key role in bringing our donuts to life every day. You’ll learn every part of the production process — dough mixing, cutting, proofing, frying, decorating, and prep. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where attention to detail, teamwork, and consistency matter.
No pastry experience? No problem. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix dough and prepare large‑batch recipes.
- Cut, proof, and fry dough to Salty standards.
- Decorate donuts and pastry items with precision and creativity.
- Follow daily production schedules and prep lists.
- Maintain product quality through visual checks and tastings.
- Communicate with the Pastry Chef, Sous Chef, and Kitchen Leads throughout the shift.
- Ensure cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and tools.
- Complete cleaning checklists and follow food‑safety procedures.
- Support the team with additional BOH tasks as needed.

- Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Friendly, positive, team‑oriented attitude.
- Curious, eager to learn, and open to feedback.
- Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable with repetitive and physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable transportation and excellent punctuality.
- Able to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).
- Able to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to read and communicate in English.
