Parttime Communications Project Manager

Project Manager, Communications (Part-Time)

Our client is seeking a Project Manager, Communications to join their team on a part-time basis (approximately 15-20 hrs per week). As a Project Manager, Communications, you will be part of the Communications Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong collaboration abilities, and effective stakeholder management skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan

Contract: 2-4 months depending on project needs

Pay Range: $45-47/hr

What's the Job?

• Support a portfolio of key change, communications, and culture initiatives with a focus on execution and follow-up
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, manage timelines, dependencies, and keep teams aligned and accountable to deadlines
• Maintain project plans across workstreams and monitor progress against milestones
• Proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, or delays to ensure continuous progress
• Manage meetings, develop agendas, prepare materials, and document decisions to keep stakeholders aligned

What's Needed?

• BS in Corporate Communications or related field
• 3-5 years of experience coordinating enterprise projects, change management and corporate communications
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
• Comfort managing timelines, dependencies, and follow-ups independently
• Familiarity with change management, communications, and technology launches is preferred
