McSweeney Auto Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an entry-level, full time Parts Warehouse Associate in Clanton, AL. This role is essential in ensuring that our parts inventory is well-organized, accurately maintained, and efficiently distributed to support our service, sales, wholesale and retail customers.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions
- Assist service technicians with parts requests
- Prepare parts orders for delivery or pickup
- Deliver and pick up parts as necessary
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and well-organized
- Conduct regular cycle counts and report discrepancies
- Follow all company policies and safety regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or parts department is a plus
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk up and down stairs, squat, pull, push and work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to drive a forklift is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Must have clean driving record and background check
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
