    Parts Specialist - As a Parts Specialist, you’ll be at the center of our operation—helping customers find solutions, supporting our service team, and making sure the right parts are available when they’re needed. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where your parts knowledge, customer service skills, and attention to detail make a difference every day.


    Hourly wage: Pay based on an individual’s skills, certifications, education, and years of experience.

    Hours of Work:Monday through Friday

    What You’ll Do

    Be the connection between customers, technicians, and the parts that keep everything moving!

    • Deliver outstanding customer service — assist customers at the parts counter, over the phone, and through electronic requests with professionalism and urgency.
    • Be a parts problem-solver — identify, research, and locate the correct parts to meet customer and technician needs.
    • Keep the shop moving — pull, stage, and deliver parts to technicians to help complete repairs efficiently.
    • Manage the parts flow — receive shipments, stock inventory, organize the warehouse, and keep parts easy to find.
    • Build relationships — work closely with customers, technicians, service writers, vendors, and team members to provide the right solutions.
    • Maintain accuracy and organization — assist with inventory control, parts tracking, and keeping the department running smoothly.
    • Take pride in your work — help create a clean, organized, and professional parts department that customers and technicians can count on.
    • Other duties as assigned

    What We're Looking For

    • 1–3 years of experience in a parts department, automotive/heavy-duty parts environment, warehouse, or related field preferred.
    • Knowledge of Class 8 truck parts, and/or automotive parts preferred.
    • Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist customers, technicians, and vendors in a professional manner.
    • Ability to accurately identify, locate, order, and distribute parts using catalogs, computer systems, and inventory software.
    • Experience taking parts orders in person, over the phone, and through electronic requests.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory and organize parts efficiently.
    • Ability to receive, inspect, stock, and put away incoming parts shipments.
    • Ability to pull, stage, and deliver parts to technicians and service departments as needed.
    • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic computer skills, including email, internet research, and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Ability to learn and effectively use dealership parts and inventory management systems.
    • Must be dependable, organized, and committed to providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.
    • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle parts and materials as required.
    • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record that meets company insurability requirements.

    Physical Requirements - This is an active role for someone who likes to stay moving:

    • Hands-on work handling, reaching, and organizing parts
    • Regular walking, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, and lifting
    • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
    • Lifting requirements:
      • Regularly lift up to 25 lbs
      • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs
      • Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
    • Good close-up and distance vision to keep things accurate and efficient
