Responsibilities -

  • Department Operations: Sets goals and objectives for the department and strives to consistently meet them; Establishes and administers an annual operating budget; Oversees sales, expenses and inventory to maintain profitability goals
  • Sales: Directs outside parts, wholesale and counter sales efforts; Develops department sales promotions and advertising
  • Inventory ManagementMaintains a balanced inventory across Service, Body Shop, Wholesale and individual customers; Manages parts inventory turnover and minimizes parts obsolescence
  • Team Management: Hires, trains, coaches and motivates all Parts Department team members
  • Customer Satisfaction: Promotes a high-quality level of service to all customers – both internal and external -& ensures maximum customer satisfaction
  • Reporting: Monitors daily reports such as DOE, DOC and sales productivity

Requirements -

  • (3) years of experience managing all day-to-day aspects of an automotive parts department.
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated, well organized with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Manage daily interactions with all dealership departments
  • Able to build & maintain strong working relationships with department managers and colleagues.
  • Experienced with CDK and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) a plus.
