What You'll Be Doing:

The Parts Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing Parts and Aftermarket sales to drive growth, profitability, and internal and external customer satisfaction. This position ensures efficient internal processes, manages daily parts operations—including sales, inventory, and expense control—and builds strong partnerships with service, operations, customers, and other stakeholders to attract and retain outstanding talent.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage annual department goals, budgets, and forecasts aligned with financial and operational objectives. 
  • Oversee all parts operations, including sales performance, inventory control, expense management, and vendor relations.
  • Monitor shortages, expedite parts using alternate resources, and maintain accurate, audit-ready processes.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team while promoting a culture of accountability and service excellence.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department and warehouse.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration with service, sales, and operations teams to support overall store success.
  • Contribute to company-wide promotions and initiatives through proactive leadership and cross-functional support.

  • Customer-focused with proven ability to deliver strong internal and external service.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks with accuracy and focus.
  • Motivated leader with strong problem-solving, risk management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient with computers, spreadsheets, and budget creation; comfortable using business systems.
  • 4+ years of parts department management experience with a track record of meeting performance goals. 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred

  • Dealership experience but is not required.

Compensation is competitive and based on skill level, experience, and knowledge.

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Business Administration or related field 

Physical Requirement

  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and occasionally climb while performing inventory, stocking, and counter activities.

  • Requires use of hands for computer, phone, and handling parts or equipment.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs., and occasionally heavier items with assistance.

  • Requires close vision for reading part numbers, labels, and computer screens; hearing ability sufficient for communication in person, over the phone, and in active work environments.

  • Must be able to work in office, warehouse, and shop environments, including exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.

  • Ability to travel to company locations or vendor sites as needed.
