Job overview:

  • Serve as the main expert of Schneider's inventory management as a Parts Coordinator in Gary, IN.
  • Maintain the quantity, accuracy and availability of all parts inventory in the shop.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with shop leadership, technicians and the parts team to provide accurate and timely parts inventory.
  • Participate as a member of the shop leadership team and advise the Shop Manager on inventory performance metrics.
  • Ensure shop inventory is maintained in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Act as a training back-up and provide off-hours support when necessary.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Technical degree in inventory management or related field, or a minimum of one year of parts inventory experience.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
