About the Venue
OVG manages three premier entertainment and convention venues in the City of Mobile: the new Regions Arena, the Mobile Convention Center, and the historic Saenger Theatre. Together, these facilities serve as key destinations for live entertainment, conventions, cultural programming, and community events throughout the Gulf Coast region.
Collectively, the venues host a wide range of events including professional sports, concerts, theater performances, conventions, trade shows, family shows, corporate meetings, and private gatherings. They play an important role in the region's tourism and hospitality economy, attracting visitors from across the Southeast and supporting Mobile's continued growth as a destination for live events.
The Mobile Arena, currently under construction and scheduled to open in early 2027, will be a state-of-the-art venue designed to host major concerts, sporting events, and large-scale entertainment. The arena will serve as the home of Mobile's professional hockey team and will bring nationally touring artists and premier events to the Gulf Coast.
The Mobile Convention Center is a waterfront facility featuring more than 300,000 square feet of flexible meeting and exhibit space overlooking Mobile Bay. The venue hosts conventions, trade shows, corporate meetings, and major civic events throughout the year.
Completing the portfolio is the historic Saenger Theatre, a beautifully restored performing arts venue originally built in 1927. The theater hosts Broadway productions, concerts, comedy shows, and community performances, and remains one of Mobile's most treasured cultural landmarks.
