Overview of Role

Reporting to the Regional Partner Product Design & Prototyping Manager, this role is a member of the regional Partner Product Innovation & Development (PPID) team and will execute our BOA and Brand Partner product design projects. This role will work directly with PPID team members and across various BOA teams to create technical, inspirational, and advanced concepts and renderings that merge performance configurations and fit innovation with current footwear trends. In doing so, this role will help tell our story of innovation and performance fit through sketches, trend and consumer needs analysis, and concept ideation. 

Responsibilities (EN):

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Reflect and role model BOA’s vision, values and Leadership Model and demonstrate passion for our mission across the PPID team and rest of the organization
  • Leveraging a project brief, assist in the creation of compelling and innovative product solutions with clear performance and aesthetic storytelling tied to our industry goals
  • Assist in the creation of tech packs and concepts in collaboration with our PPID, Commercial, Marketing and Product Development teams that enable us to achieve our industry objectives.
  • Support documentation and internal needs with technically accurate images and diagrams
  • Develop knowledge of our products, including components, appropriate configurations and installation to support new Product Development and PPID
  • Evolve our current configurations to maximize our options and align with our consumer fit story
  • Collaborate with 3D prototyping team on cohesive brand partner deliverables and advanced concept explorations
  • Regularly seek out inspiration by researching new technologies, products and trends in the industry and in the market
  • Contribute to concept ideation sessions in conjunction with senior designers
  • Contribute to consumer performance and fit assessments
Qualifications (EN):

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Industrial Design or similar degree in Footwear/Product Development OR equivalent experience in the relevant field
  • 1+ year experience in a design role 
  • Demonstrated passion and interest for footwear trends and design, highlighted in your portfolio
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite
  • Advanced sketch visualization skills
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and project timelines
  • A passion for problem solving, continuously learning, and seeking out new ideas


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in footwear, product, or industrial design
  • Experience in manufacturing

 

Overview of Compensation and Benefits 

  • Budgeted salary range: $63,000 - $80,000
    • We will determine salary based on skills and experience in relation to the function of the role, as well as equity to any other employees with similar experience in the same or similar role
    • This role is also eligible for a 10% annual bonus
