Job description:

Personnel Resources has a client with an immediate opening for a Part-time Visitor Service Manager at a local garden retreat in Dothan, AL. This position will typically work 20-24 hours a week unless assisting with an event.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the volunteer program and gift shop
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
  • Handle various reporting to include tracking income, forecasting volume, and establishing goals
  • Coordinate the newsletter and manage the company website

Requirements/Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2+ years of retail management experience (museum/non-profit setting is preferred )
  • Minimum of a high school diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience is required
  • Strong hospitality skills to provide exceptional guest services
  • Proficient in cash handling and basic financial transactions
  • Ability to manage and coordinate events
  • Good computer skills to include MS Excel
