SCC Association POSITION DESCRIPTION The Part Time Assistant Teacher at the Childrens Learning Centers - is a SCC Association position and report to the Director of the Childrens Learning Center. Childrens Learning Center has an employment opportunity for a Teacher Assistant.
The candidate must be a caring, kind individual with a love for children. Must also be a team player and have some flexibility in scheduling.
The Center is open for the Fall Semester (August-December) and Spring Semester (January-May) and closed during the Summer. Hours of operation are 7:30-5:00 Monday through Friday. Children ages 6 weeks to 5 years are accepted for care.
Responsibilities include the following:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Salary is based on degree and years of Early Childhood Education experience. Two years prior experience in a NAEYC Accredited Early Childhood Center and Licensed Early Childhood Center or minimum CDA Certification with two years experience working with children less than 5 years of age.
