RTC Services is hiring a part-time Support Specialist in Bellefontaine, OH to provide instruction, supervision, and hands-on assistance to individuals with disabilities, following each person’s individual service plan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering personal care support (including restroom assistance and clothing changes)
- Planning and carrying out meaningful activities with individuals served
- Implementing individualized plans and documenting each day
Required qualifications:
- Age 18 or older
- High school diploma or GED (proof required)
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
Your Typical Shift
Your day runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with time to review the individual service plan, support people through structured routines, and stay organized with timely notes. You’ll spend part of the shift in the community—helping individuals participate in activities and get to destinations safely—and part of the day in onsite support focused on comfort, dignity, and consistent guidance. You’ll coordinate with teammates to keep schedules on track and ensure support remains aligned to each person’s goals.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check by fingerprinting in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 5123-2-02 and drug screen.
