CRCC is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and collaborative Part-Time Special Education Teacher/Coach to work with our Level 3 program. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential.
This position is part-time and you will be working 20 hours per week. This is at our SW Center location based off of 138th and Q Street. The start date for this position will be early August 2026.
The Starting Pay for this position is $30-$40 per hour.
Position Overview
This role will primarily support a structured Level 3 classroom serving young students with autism and/or significant behavioral needs, most of whom are nonverbal and have demonstrated significant enough behaviors that have led to placement outside their home school or district.

Key Responsibilities
- Support instruction and programming in a structured Level 3 special education classroom
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, paras and behavior specialists to implement individualized strategies
- Assist in developing and implementing IEP goals and behavior intervention plans
- Provide coaching and support to classroom staff on evidence-based practices
- Foster a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Maintain clear communication with team members and families as appropriate

- For Casual and Part-time employees'- who work 15-29 hours per week and Part-time 30 plus hours worked per week, who work at least 80 hours of consecutive employment in a calendar year, will accrue one hour per each 30 hours worked with an accrual cap of 56 hours.
- Holiday policy for paid holidays for part-time staff that average 15 to 35 hours a week, will be paid the average daily hours worked up to a maximum of 4 hours.
- CRCC employees' who work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for health, dental and vision benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Special Education teaching license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with students with autism and/or significant behavioral needs preferred
- Knowledge of structured teaching, behavior supports, verbal behavior programs (VBP) and communication strategies and devices (e.g., AAC)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for working with diverse learners and commitment to inclusive practices
