Our client, Hawthorne House, is hiring for a part-time Showroom Assistant. This position is a vital role for Hawthorne House. The ideal candidate must be able to work with clients on the showroom floor, keep the showroom floor in pristine condition, and work with operations to facilitate smooth operational flow. The Showroom Assistant must be people-oriented and customer service-focused.
Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls and direct them to the correct department
- Organize samples
- Assist all clients in the showroom and with custom order sales
- Maintain showroom appearance
- Walk-in customer showroom sales
- Manage part-time showroom staff
- Assist showroom manager in all aspects of order placing and tracking and customer outreach and follow up
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, and kneel
- Sit and stand for long periods of time
- Use computer for long periods of time
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Mac proficiency preferred
- Experience in MS Office
- CRM knowledge and project management software preferred
Reports directly to the Showroom Manager.
