MMR Research Worldwide specializes in consumer and sensory research and works with large, international brands within the food, beverage & personal/household care sectors.
WHERE: Our Sensory Science Center in Pleasantville, NY 10570.
TYPICAL DAYS: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week
HOURS: 2 hours between either 10am -12pm OR 12:30-2:30pm
PAY: $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Working individually and within a team to evaluate food, drink, personal care products and individual ingredients.
- You will be taught to generate sensory descriptions as a group (relating to taste, appearance, texture and smell) and then individually score products on these descriptors.
- No experience necessary as full training is provided
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- You must not have any dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian, caffeine or alcohol aversion)
- You must not have any food intolerances/sensitivities/allergies
- Good sensory acuity relating to smell and taste (we assess this at your interview)
- You should have the ability to follow detailed instructions and complete routine tasks quickly and accurately
- Articulate, fluent in English
