Job Skills / Requirements

Full-Time Security Officer (Unarmed)

Location: Coraopolis, PA

Schedule: Thursday & Friday | 7:00am to 7:00pm

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Position Overview:The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to safety and security situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor building access points, entrances, and exits to ensure only authorized personnel enter secure areas.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, both interior and exterior.
• Identify and report potential safety or security issues in a timely manner.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and visitor records.
• Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Support emergency response activities, including evacuations and first aid as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in security, safety, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.

This is a Part-Time position 1st Shift, Thursday & Friday | 7am to 7pm | 24 hrs | Part-Time.
