Part Time Seafood Clerk

This part-time role involves processing, packaging, and stocking seafood products according to standards, cleaning work areas, and providing customer service including unloading and reloading stock. When assigned, responsibilities may include duties of a meat clerk.

Candidates must perform essential duties satisfactorily and have at least 18 years of age.

• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation are required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, with 1-3 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills for handling money and measurements.
• Ability to follow instructions and solve routine problems.
• Completion of required training in safety, sanitation, and product knowledge is necessary.

The role requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Visual acuity for close, color, and depth perception is essential. Work occurs in a cold, humid environment with moderate to loud noise levels, exposure to moving machinery, fumes, and chemicals.
