Professional tutors will provide one-on-one and small group support to students under the supervision of the TRIO Academic Advisor-Special Populations Coordinator.
Responsibilities include attending training, applying learned skills, understanding course content, and tutoring using diverse methods and technology, including TEAMS/ZOOM.
They must be punctual and communicate any absences.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with coursework in the subject area (B or higher). Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
Work may require flexible hours in a busy environment with interruptions.
Compensation is $15/hour for up to 19 hours per week.
