We are an established, physician‑owned dermatology clinic seeking a part‑time Physician Assistant who is clinically strong, personable, and eager to grow with our team. Qualifications
  • Dermatology or outpatient surgical experience
  • Excellent clinical judgment, bedside manner, and patient‑education skills
  • Strong foundation in medical documentation, coding, and billing compliance (CMS & private payers)
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Health/Medical Records (EHR/EMR) systems
  • Familiarity with prior‑authorization and prescription workflows
  • Demonstrated commitment to HIPAA compliance, patient safety, and quality improvement
  • Professional appearance, integrity, reliability, and the ability to work effectively with physicians and support staff
  • Organized and self‑directed, able to manage a steady patient schedule while maintaining meticulous charting
Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive and problem‑focused dermatologic examinations
  • Formulate differential diagnoses and develop evidence‑based treatment plans
  • Perform office‑based procedures: cryotherapy, shave/punch biopsies,  injections, excisions, wound care, and suturing
  • Assist the dermatologist in surgical cases and complex procedures
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and pathology reports; communicate results promptly to patients
  • Prescribe medications and manage refills, including biologics and topical therapies
  • Provide pre‑ and post‑operative counseling and written instructions
  • Document encounters accurately and timely in the EHR, ensuring coding/billing precision
  • Coordinate referrals and communicate findings with primary care physicians or other specialists as appropriate
  • Participate in inventory management of clinical supplies and medications
  • Contribute to quality‑assurance projects and staff meetings
  • Foster a welcoming, compassionate environment that supports patient satisfaction and continuity of care
