SUNY Niagara has an immediate need for a part-time instructor to teach in the clinical area of Psychiatric within the Associate Degree Nursing Program. This position is for 15 weeks, consisting of two 6.5-hour clinical days per week. Times and location can vary based on the candidates availability. The pay for the 15-week appointment will be $10,320. Appointment will be effective on January 21, 2026, and appointment will end the last week of April, first week in May. Paid orientation to teaching responsibilities will be provided.
Individuals with current clinical proficiency and/or teaching experience are particularly encouraged to apply. Selected candidates may apply when applicable for a possible scholarship to earn a Masters of Science in Nursing Education.

Required Qualifications • An Associates or Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Nursing. • A Masters of Science degree in Nursing. • If the candidate does not currently have a MSN, must be either currently enrolled in a MSN program or intend on enrolling within the academic year. • Current Registered Nurse License. • Recent acute care experience.
Desirable Qualifications • A Masters of Science degree with a major in Nursing. • Licenses and certifications.
