We are actively seeking a Part-Time Medical Scheduler to be a part of our Physical Therapy Administrative team.
This position is an in-person position ensuring the smooth operation of our Physical Therapy practice. This position involves a combination of checking in patients, scheduling their appointments, taking copayments, fielding clinic calls, scanning and filing, and other miscellaneous projects.
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service
- Answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments
- Manage appointment cancellations, rescheduling requests, waitlists
- Manage patient intake forms and maintain accurate records
- Support clinic operations and maintain efficient schedules
- Assist with payments, and administrative tasks
- Effectively communicate with patients, therapists, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and positive patient experience
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or front desk role required
- Knowledge of patient financial responsibilities preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Hours: Flexible
Compensation: $17-21 an hour
Qualifications:
- Highschool graduate or equivalent
- Medical clerical experience strongly preferred
- Basic computer knowledge, e.g., Microsoft office and prior experience with EMRs
- Self-starter and detail oriented
- Tactful interpersonal relationships
