Schedule: 6 PM - 9 PM evening shift Monday-Friday (3 hours/day)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Master Auto Technician (ASE Certified preferred) to support evening maintenance and repair operations. This role is ideal for a senior tech looking for extra hours, or a retired/semi-retired technician wanting flexible, part-time work.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on delivery vans and DOT-regulated vehicles
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Conduct brake services, fluid exchanges, and general repair work
- Support overflow tasks during the evening shift
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety standards
Requirements
- 2+ years of automotive technician experience
- ASE Certifications preferred (Master Tech a plus)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- DOT Brake Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid drivers license; must meet DOT physical requirements
- Ability to work independently during evening hours
Preferred Experience
- Vehicle diagnostics, electrical, AC, and fuel system work
- Experience servicing delivery vans or fleet vehicles
