LVN Job Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and care plans
  • Monitor patient health status and report changes to the RN or physician
  • Provide skilled nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
  • Perform wound care, injections, catheter care, and other clinical procedures within LVN scope of practice
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs and support staff as appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with California nursing regulations and facility policies
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining resident dignity
Education & Certification Requirements
  • Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred (skilled nursing or long-term care strongly preferred)
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
