The Department of Earth & Climate Sciences is seeking a part-time Lecturer for the Fall 2026 semester to teach "Introduction to Oceanography" (ECS-0005).
The course covers physical, chemical, and biological oceanography fundamentals, with flexible materials provided. It enrolls 50-80 undergraduates, meets twice weekly (Tues/Thurs, 3:00-4:15 pm), and includes a final exam and weekly office hours.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. or advanced training in oceanography or related Earth Sciences; teaching experience is preferred.
