Posting Summary Support Instructor The Summer Institute is a dynamic Summer Enrichment initiative designed to assist first-year students with transitioning from high school to college. The Institute focuses on developing the knowledge and skills needed in the college classroom setting that scholars will need in the Fall semester.
Faculty and Staff orientation and student onboarding will take place in late June leading into the core instructional period, which runs from Monday, June 29, through Thursday, August 6, 2026. Instructors will be responsible for a syllabus course, instruction, tutoring, testing, student evaluation, participation in the end-of-program ceremony, and other administrative tasks. Please note that this program is conducted fully in person on campus.
These preparatory courses are not part of an official academic program but are intentionally designed to align closely with Fall semester coursework in order to strengthen students foundational knowledge and support their transition into the academic year.

Responsibilities • Attend planning and pre-program training meetings. • Deliver course instruction, administer exams, and assess student learning. • Participate in SN-EOF faculty team meetings to monitor student academic progress. • Track student performance through exams, quizzes, and assignments. • Conduct diagnostic testing to assess student strengths and areas for growth. • Provide supplemental academic support and coaching to students facing academic challenges. • Collaborate with SN-EOF staff on special events, including Student and staff retreat, Debate competition, and Newsletter contributions.
