Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field—or equivalent experience
Must have experience with Success Factors
1–3 years of HR, administrative, or coordination experience
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Must have experience with Dayforce (Ceridian) or similar HRIS platforms
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
Experience supporting onboarding or HR operations in multi-site or multi-entity environments
SharePoint content management experience
Interest in community engagement or early talent program
HRIS & Dayforce Administration
Enter and audit new hire records in Dayforce (personal data, tax elections, direct deposit, position details)
Track and follow up on outstanding pre-boarding and onboarding tasks
Maintain accurate personnel files, including document organization and scanning
Process employment verification requests
Recruitment Support
Post job openings to job boards and internal platforms
Coordinate interview scheduling and communicate with candidates
Track candidate progress within the applicant tracking system
Prepare offer letters and coordinate pre-employment steps (background checks, I-9 initiation)
Onboarding Coordination
Send welcome communications and first-day instructions
Coordinate orientation logistics and prepare onboarding materials
Monitor 30/60/90-day milestones and remind managers of check-ins
Serve as a primary contact for new hire questions during onboarding
Employee Engagement & Onsite Events
Plan and execute employee engagement events at the RTP location
Identify partnership opportunities with local schools, colleges, and community organizations in Durham and Wake County
Support outreach efforts to universities and technical programs for early talent pipeline development
Coordinate event logistics, timing, and budgets with the Head of HR
HR Projects & Documentation
Support SOP library development (formatting, organizing, uploading to SharePoint Managers Hub)
Assist in maintaining and updating SharePoint content and structure
Draft routine HR communications
Monitor and triage the HR shared inbox
Provide Tier 1 benefits support and escalate as needed
Coordinate offboarding logistics (equipment returns, exit documentation, scheduling)

This role provides hands-on operational support and works closely with the Head of HR. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting a variety of HR functions across multiple companies.
