Position Overview
The Part Time General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages in a collaborative and patient-focused clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent bedside manner, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dental services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and treatment planning
- Diagnose and treat oral health conditions, diseases, and injuries
- Provide restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dental procedures
- Deliver patient education regarding oral hygiene and preventative care
- Administer fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, and extractions
- Treat pediatric and adult patients with professionalism and compassion
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and office staff to ensure efficient patient care
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and patient care techniques
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active California Dental License in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required
- Pediatric dentistry experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
Certifications & Requirements
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- DEA License preferred
- Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus
