Position: Golf Shop Assistant
Status: Part-Time (20-29 hours per week)
Department: Golf Pro Shop
Reports to: First Assistant Golf Professional

Key Responsibilities:

Provides excellent service by engaging with members/guests and ensuring their needs are met.
Assists members at the counter and over the phone with inquiries and booking tee times.
Operates point of sale system and receives and processes payments.
Advises members and guests about attire and playing privileges of the various membership classifications.
Takes messages for members who may be on the course.
Maintains effective communication with staff and management.
Operates a handheld radio maintaining communication with staff.
Raises flags each morning.
Maintains records for lost/found clubs.
Maintains the water and coffee service area.
Maintains familiarity with retail products, and assists Retail when needed.

Requirements:

3-6 months of related experience.
Ability to perform general administrative duties including filing, taking messages, and data entry.
Ability to use Word, Excel, email, USGA GHIN software, and tee sheet/GPS software.
Must have an unexpired Driver's License.
Must be able to drive a golf cart and lift up to 40 pounds.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
Must be available to work on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
