The Cambria-Friesland School District is seeking a reliable, energetic, and team-oriented individual to join our Food Service Department as a Part-Time Food Service Assistant.
This position assists with meal preparation, serving students, kitchen cleanup, and maintaining a safe and sanitary food service environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is dependable, and works well as part of a team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation and food service
- Serve breakfast and lunch to students and staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and serving area
- Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen duties
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Food service experience is helpful, but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
