Primrose School of North Meridian is looking for caring, reliable Part-Time Floating Assistant Teachers to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and working with children of all ages in a supportive, high-quality early learning environment.
As a floating assistant, youll support multiple classrooms and work with children ranging from 6 weeks through 5 years old, all while maintaining low teacher-to-child ratios.
Schedule Options: • Monday-Friday • 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
What We Offer: • $14-$17 per hour based on experience • Consistent weekday schedule with no nights or weekends • Low classroom ratios • Paid training and ongoing support • A positive professional and team-focused work environment
What Youll Do: • Assist in classrooms across different age groups as needed • Support daily routines, activities, and classroom management • Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment • Build positive relationships with children, teachers, and families • Follow all school policies and state licensing requirements
What Were Looking For: • Meets Idaho childcare licensing requirements • Experience in early childhood education preferred but not required • A positive attitude and flexibility to work with various age groups • Dependable, caring, and team-oriented • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed
