The School of Architecture seeks a part-time instructor to teach a six-credit course on advanced architectural design. The course will be structured as a studio.
The expected salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $24,000 - $27,000 for this 6-credit hour course. Qualifications
Strong design and critical thinking skills.
Candidates must hold a Master of Architecture or a master's degree in a related field and demonstrate a record of recognized architectural design research which may include built work, scholarship, publications or exhibits.

Those of a part-time faculty member with a teaching load of 6-credits including:
Developing a syllabus
Preparation of lectures, projects, or other assignments
Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours
Meeting all designated class periods
Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course
Submitting final grades according to university regulations
Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner
Building a positive rapport with students
