The Adult Education and Literacy Department is seeking ESL Instructors to teach adult students, helping them achieve their educational and personal goals.
Responsibilities include creating lesson plans aligned with curriculum, instructing students using appropriate materials, and evaluating their progress.
Instructors will maintain student and departmental records, attend conferences, staff meetings, and participate in professional development activities.
They will assist students with classroom equipment, demonstrate tolerance and flexibility when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and respect cultural differences.
Requirements include a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and basic computer skills. Prior experience teaching adults and working with ESL students is preferred.
