Position Overview

This Part-Time Instructor teaches Technology

Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.

In accordance with Rule 6A-14.064, F.A.C., College Credit Dual Enrollment Courses offered at secondary school locations, this position requires all candidates be employed by an authorized MDC Dual Enrollment secondary school partner. Candidates must meet Miami Dade College Faculty Credential Statement faculty teaching qualifications, including SACSCOC's Principles of Accreditation minimum criteria: A Master's degree in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s) or a Master's degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s).

What you need to succeed
  • Master's degree in discipline or a Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution and 18 graduate credit hours in discipline. Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
  • All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
