Salary Range Other The Hourly Range 54.27 to 86.76 Doctorate Range 63.95 to 89.04 2025-2026 Certified Part-time Non-Instructional Hourly Salary Schedule Part Time Faculty office Hours are paid at a flat rate of 30 per hour.

Benefits Not Eligible for Benefits With the exception of Workers Compensation coverage not eligible to participate in the Districts benefit programs.

Position Summary Information

Scope of Assignment The successful candidate will join the Accommodations & Support Services department that continues to create curriculum responsive to student needs increasing student completion through the implementation of strategies geared to increase student equity.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Masters degree in counseling guidance counseling student personnel clinical or counseling psychology education counseling social work career development marriage and family therapy marriage family and child counseling or a Bachelors degree in marriage and family therapy or in marriage family and child counseling and possession of a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist MFT and either 15 or more semester units in upper division or graduate level coursework related to people with disabilities or completion of six semester units or the equivalent of a graduate-level counseling practicum or counseling field work courses in a post-secondary Disabled Students Programs and Services program or in a program dealing with people with disabilities or two years of full-time experience or the equivalent in one or more of the following A Counseling for students with disabilities or B Counseling in industry government public agencies military or private social welfare organizations in which the responsibilities are for persons with disabilities or the equivalent Determined by California State Chancellors Office. Desirable Qualifications

DESIRABLE CHARACTERISTICS Experience in community college-based grant funded programs andor categorical programs. Competence in current professional principles practices and techniques for counseling. Experience in counseling community college students from traditionally disadvantaged backgrounds students with disabilities Veterans andor single parents. Ability to use available technologies and classroom assessment instrumentstechniques and the ability to provide effective interpretation to faculty and administrators. Demonstrated ability to teach counseling courses and facilitate workshops orientations and seminars Ability to conduct and develop educational workshops educational plans CSUUC applications TAG and Advising.

Desirable Professional Characteristics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated knowledge of counseling approaches for students to compensate for educational limitations posed by specific disabilities Evidence of knowledge of state and federal guidelines regarding academic accommodations as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 At least two
