We currently have an opening for a personable, dedicated, and reliable Cook to create, prepare, and serve nutritious and delicious meals for our residents who live with us at our Austin Senior Apartments location.
Hours:Part Time- Morning Shift and Evening Shift
Pay: Based on experience.
Benefits: Available on the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
Duties: Food purchasing, planning, preparation, cooking, and serving of food.
Requires: Excellent cooking/culinary skills, the ability to work independently, and customer-focused while catering to a group of older adults. The ability to communicate well with others, read and interpret recipes, and follow directions is necessary. Must have thorough knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and nutrition. We will provide the required DHS 83 state regulation training.
