Position Information TYPE OF RECRUITMENT: External POSITION: Adjunct Clinical Instructor - Nursing (PN & RN Programs) LOCATION: NDSCS - Wahpeton & Fargo, North Dakota TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time, non-benefited position WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED: Anyone eligible to work in the United States JOB SUMMARY: The Adjunct Clinical Instructor is responsible for providing high-quality clinical instruction for students in the Practical Nursing (PN) and Registered Nursing (RN) programs. Primary responsibilities focus on clinical instruction and evaluation of student performance, with opportunities to assist in laboratory and simulation instruction based on program needs. Position requires flexibility, strong clinical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-centered academic environment. Clinical teaching assignments available in the Wahpeton or Fargo/Moorhead areas. Minimum Requirements Must support the Mission, Vision, Values of NDSCS and the Nursing Department PN Clinical Instructors: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) RN Clinical Instructors: Master's degree in nursing or BSN with a Master's degree in progress Minimum of 2 years or recent clinical nursing experience Unencumbered North Dakota RN license or ability to obtain Demonstrated competence in nursing practice Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with students and staff in a team setting Available for clinical teaching minimum of 1 day/week Preferred Qualifications Unencumbered Minnesota RN license or ability to obtain Master's degree in nursing Previous teaching or clinical instruction experience * Successful teaching, training, or precepting experience Additional Information HOURLY RATE: Current adjunct pay rate (calculated per credit taught) DATE AVAILABLE: As arranged SCREENING BEGINS: Immediately - for full consideration, applications should be received as soon as possible.
