Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and filled as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drive college buses and vehicles as scheduledAbide by Federal Motor Carrier safety regulation guidelinesWork with college group leader to conduct a safe positive tripDisplay a positive image of the collegeProtect the college investment in transportation resourcesAbility to meet the public well and work with a variety of people groupsAble to work a flexible schedule that includes: nights, weekends, holidays, etc.Preventive maintenance and cleaning college vehicles Qualifications High School Diploma or GED requiredMust have a valid driver's license with passenger endorsementMust have a clean driving record, clean drug record and a DOT heath cardTruck and bus driving experience is requiredMust have experience driving in large citiesMust have the ability to operate a bus up to 45 ft with a manual or automatic transmissionMechanically inclined and able to make repairsAbility to work flexible schedule and make multi-day tripsProfessional appearance and comportment Application Procedures/Additional Information SALARY:$190.00 per dayAPPLICATION DEADLINE: Complete application files will be accepted by the Human Resources Department on a continuous basis and remain active for available positions.
